Come see rare and exotic sea turtles at South Padre! Sea Turtle, Inc is a non-profit sea turtle rescue center founded in 1977 by Ila Loetscher, the Turtle Lady of South Padre Island. The center was established to help protect and educate the public about the sensitive environmental issues concerning these turtles.

Educational presentations are available at the center. The center is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

We really enjoyed this! The kids had a blast, especially being able to feed the turtles. Great Family Activity.

THis was so great! Go at 10 when they do a little talk. Then you get to go and feed the turtles that eat lettuce. The tanks are only thigh high so little ones can stand and see into the tanks at these huge turtles! It is a great experience!!
