My family and I stayed at the La Quinta and had a nice time.
The pros: Very large rooms, great free breakfast, on the beach- the beach access is very close to the pool deck, I could make the walk by myself with all of our bach "stuff" and my 4 and 6 year old.inexpensive snacks at the snack bar, animal friendly, microwave and refridgerator in very room, free safe in every room.
The cons: Animal friendly(lots of dogs around), it is not landscaped very well, but it is a newer hotel.
The beach was beautiful, much nicer that Port A and Galveston.
Be sure and ask for a room on the left side of the hotel (if you are facing the ocean) the view is much nicer! |
