Looking for a bed and breakfast accomodation with Old-World architecture and flair? Then try out Casa de Siesta, the newest bed and breakfast facility on the Island. Having just been completed in January of 2000, the B&B features unique and charming architecture with furnishings representative of a Mexican, North American and Southwestern culture. The rooms, configured around a cozy looking courtyard in the tradition of an Old-World Mexican "ranchero", offer a quiet retreat for adults (no children under 12 are allowed for your convenience). The courtyard features fountains (called "wells") made in Mexico out of volcanic stone that have been handcarved, native plants from the area and beautiful dark red brick tiles that envelope a refreshing pool available for guests to use.

Each guest room is unique in theme and color and has a beautiful arched 8' door with what they call a "rosette" style window with hand made stained glass. The ceilings in the rooms are also of Indigenous architecture native to the New Mexico area with large log beams (called "Vigas") from the famous Ponderosa pine wood found in the Southwestern States. The bathrooms all feature tiles made of clay and handpainted to perfection (you may know them as the famous "Saltillo" tiles from Saltillo, Mexico).

Casa de Siesta also features either 1 King size bed or 2 standard size beds depending on your requirements. All rooms have showers, refrigerators, TV, and phones. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning in a beautiful diniing room that looked like it was taken out of a scene from an old Spaghetti Western movie set in Mexico.
