The Bahia Mar Resort is located on the northern part of the island away from traffic and the bulk of the business district. This means quiet beaches and relaxations for all Bahia Mar guests. The resort occupies 15 acres directly on the beach, giving you prime access to beautiful dark white dunes.
Each room is in a 12-story high-rise tower appointed with private balconies that overlook either the ocean and pool area or the Laguna Madre Bay. The Bahia Mar has perhaps one of the best pool and hot tub areas on the Island. The tower has over 200 standard rooms, kitchenettes and suites.
Additionally, the resort is known for featuring regularly scheduled live entertainment and is especially a hit among Spring Breakers during March through April. |

| Horrible horrible horrible. The management is the worst, most unprofessional, disorganized and rude I have ever dealt with. Condos are very old, dirty, falling apart. Don't hurt yourself going up 4 rickety old and deteriorated flights of stairs to your condo, especially at night, since all the lights are nonfunctional. You WILL be calling for maintenance, as one appliance or another will be broken. Good luck. Management does NOT care. Worth repeating...management does NOT care. Make sure to bring plenty of soap, the pools are greasy. |
